About National Initiatives for Development Organization (NIDO)
National Initiatives Development Organization (NIDO) is a non-governmental and non-benefit organization working in South, & East Darfur states since 2014 in the field of primary Health care, Education, Capacity building, Food security, Peace Building & livelihood, WASH, Child &Women empowerment and Human rights .
Although (NIOD) was registered in 2013 with Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), South Darfur and federally was registered in 2016, it acquired various accumulated experience on the field, efficiently delivering humanitarian aid services to the target beneficiaries.
Vision
NIDO IS to create lasting positive change in the lives of women and children in need through articulate and designed measures, and strive to see that the needy necessities are well met
Mission
Delivering services to the needy wherever and whenever they are in a context of NON DESCRIMINATORY ENVIRONMENT and bringing hope to them wherever they are

NIDO over – arching strategy is promoting DEVELOPMENT and social inclusion. NIDO supports national poverty reduction and other Millennium Development Goals (MDG) efforts with a focus on recovery, reintegration, and reconciliation
NIDO strategy operates at the macro – level to create and enabling environment; at the macro – level to enhance local capabilities; and at the micro – level to strengthen and empower communities and civil society.
