Distribution of Dignity Kits in Aldein Almina Albury IDP Site – East Darfur

As part of our ongoing humanitarian response, NIDO, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the East Darfur State Ministry of Social Affairs, carried out a distribution of dignity kits to women and girls in the Aldein Almina Albury internally displaced persons (IDP) site.

The dignity kits, provided by UNFPA, aim to preserve the health, hygiene, and dignity of displaced women and girls affected by the ongoing crisis in East Darfur. These kits include essential hygiene items tailored to the specific needs of women and adolescent girls, helping them manage their daily lives with more dignity and confidence.

This intervention reflects the joint commitment of NIDO, UNFPA, and local authorities to support vulnerable populations, promote women’s rights, and ensure access to basic services during times of crisis.
